Tourism Development In Colombia Our Responsibility

Colombia is a country with all the chances in the touristic part. The problem is that we aren´t  conscious of all the things that we have and prefer the international things before that the national things, we need to remember our identity, that´s exactly the reason why i choose my major because i want to be part of something bigger, be part of the change, be part of the solution. Actually, i have an idea, to start a conscientiation campaign in the Colombia´s universities. This conference would be about  all the opportunities that we have, and that the students ( The Future of Our Country) realized why the touristic development is so important.

The Importance of Hotel and Tourism Management

The vacations are an important part for almost all the people, they usually want many things like:

• REST IN A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL
• EAT AMAZING FOOD
• HAVE A LOT OF FUN
• KNOW DIFFERENT PLACES

And in that moment is when our job starts, because we are here to do the best for YOU! 

The tourism isn't important just for the people who want to rest, is an essential  part of the economical sector of many countries, literally there are countries, and cities which base their development, in the touristic part. All the governments want their countries to be successful and want people visiting them, and again, we talk about the hotel and tourism management, why?, because is our job to design innovative strategies to impulse the touristic part, to think in a way to develop the tourism in a sustainable way. All of this always thinking in the welfare of our costumers and potential costumers.

Colombia is a country with all the chances to develop the tourism, we have things that other countries just can imagine, thinks like:

1.     A lot of Weathers: When you are in Colombia you can simply change from a hot weather to a cold one just in a short period of time. Here, you can find tropical zones, and even beautiful mountains covered by snow.

2.     Delicious Food: You can find from soups prepared with vegetables and fish to delicious desserts prepared with fruits.  One of the best resources we have is our Coffee,    one of the best coffees all over the world, and it is an important part of our economical development. However, our food has more elements than fruits, vegetables and coffee, we are famous because of our fish variety and the delicious preparations that we make with it. In our gastronomy, we have delicious dishes like Bandeja Paisa, Tamales, Lechona... These are the most famous dishes  we have, but we have a lot more that you need to try. Believe me you will no regret!

3. Many Attractions: One of the best things that Colombia has is all the beautiful landscapes, beaches, mountains, rivers...  A lot of different amazing and natural attractions, you will be delighted by the sight of  deserts, lakes, and jungle, if you want a different experience. Definitely you should visit us!

    

  4. Animals, Plants and Flowers: Colombia is positioned among the countries with greater biodiversity.  Positioned in the third place with living species and in the first place with 1,876 of birds species. This equates to 19% of species in the world and 60% of the species in South America.

This four ideas are just a little part of the reason why Colombia is an excellent option to travel, explore, and know. Colombia has all the conditions to be one of the most successful countries around the world.  We just have to be more conscious of all the resources we have and learn how to use them  appropriately.

Why Hotel and Tourism Management is the best choice?

HOTEL AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT is for me, the best option because is a union of all the things that I love. This major is really cool, you can learn many new things about traveling, cooking, languages and mathematics, and that's great.It is amazing, if you want something different and wonderful that's for me the best option. 
This major is social and is good option for you if you are:

- A helpful person

- A person with futuristic vision 

- A person who enjoys the new things

- A creative and innovative person

That's really interesting, I said that the tourism is magic because it is a combination of interesting things, the opportunity to  meet amazing people and always have fun. If you study this, you will never get bored.

People should know the hotel and tourism management importance. It is relevant for you and your family to spend time on vacations, because all the people want to rest, and while you are resting, having fun.

Just remember that this major is for someone who loves the service, who loves the people and loves the amazing expiriences.

My major is the best, is funny, different and interesting, I couldn't imagine how different would be my life if I had made a different decision. I will always say: It was the best decision in my life.
